Maybe learned a bit of perspective...

New apartment... Bout a month here. Equates to perhaps 20 days/nights hearing the couple in the next house fight...scream...break shit..cops occasionally. First time I had the opportunity to approach her today...as I was getting in my truck. Basic pleasantries exchanged with a woman with a fat lip. Bout' to go to McDonald's, can I get you something? " Oh lord no, that stuff is sooo unhealthy, but thanks".. her response.

Wow🤔

Usually, in a situation like that, both members of the couple are drunk, or doing drugs, or both. Don't be afraid to call in a noise nuisance. She is never going to leave her husband.

@4meAndyou Sad... Really looked this woman in the eye. As if to ask.. Do you need help sorta. My offer of a food run was to break bread... Failed I guess. 🤷‍♀️

@Trippin Even if she would admit to you that she was in trouble, (and she won't), she will stay in this relationship. Something about it appeals to her.

@4meAndyou Odd... to me anyway. I guess Im missing some sort of connection only she can see.

@Trippin I thought Oogie Boogie explained it rather well. But if I could inject my own experience, it's possible that she has very low self esteem, or can't deal with another breakup. It's also possible that she had an abusive parents or parents, and doesn't even understand why she is only attracted to abusive losers now, and only being able to feel love when it is provided by an abuser.

@4meAndyou I agree...She did. Parts of the equation Id never considered.. As is your addition just now. What a complex issue in terms of simply the desire...or down right need..to hold someones hand. Blows my mind. 🤷‍♀️
