For those who exercise regularly, how do you react to missing a workout?

I just missed my first one this year, and kinda having a crisis. Not sure whether to go heavier in the next workout, to add a makeup day, to cut back on the calories, or to just let it go and continue like nothing happened. I'm leaning towards the last one, but I'm curious to see how other people go about it

No need to stress over one time. Please. Just get back in the boat and start paddling as if nothing happened. One day is not going to kill you. And you don't want to overcompensate the next day. That makes no sense and you could over strain some muscles so just start tomorrow again and don't change a thing. It will all work out.
