For those who exercise regularly, how do you react to missing a workout?

I just missed my first one this year, and kinda having a crisis. Not sure whether to go heavier in the next workout, to add a makeup day, to cut back on the calories, or to just let it go and continue like nothing happened. I'm leaning towards the last one, but I'm curious to see how other people go about it

Depends on the reason I missed. I did yesterday due to a trapped nerve, so my concern is whether It will be okay for tomorrow.

@22Michelle Yeah, it's important to listen to your body. I've had issues where I just have a shorter or lighter workout until I'm better, but sometimes it's necessary to rest, even if that means skipping
