I want to join a new gym in the new year but it’s $54 AUD a week 🥲

It's easy to go walking.
Look up interval training and gradually build up.
Or look up Zumba or energetic dance classes on YouTube.

If you want to do weights, fill plastic containers with water.
0ne litre of water equals one kilo in weight.
Attach them to either end of a broom stick or a crowbar.

For flexibility try [i]Yoga with Adele[/i] on YouTube. These are free classes specifically targeted to different ages and abilities

YouTube is free and there are instructions by experts from all disciplines.

Think about what that will cost you over the course of a year, and see what that can get you for own equipment at home. It's the way to go.

Never mind the gym.. i used to walk circles around the tennis court and i weighed 102 lbs .. buy a bike or something

Do sit ups and stuff at home why do you need a gym

Having a gym membership certainly provides a variety of workouts but even if you just do simple stuff like go for a run or do sit-ups, it's still an improvement. And that's all you gotta concern yourself with.

For that much I expect to come out of it propped up, after only one session, magically and without even fatiguing

Join an old gym instead but make sure they give you a locker! And don't let some old guy named Mick give it to somebody else!

If you arent lifting heavy there's no real reason to get a gym membership, just do it at home

$54 seems excessive.
Better off doing exercises at home.

Why is it so expensive? You can get a month for that price here in Norway, perhaps more.

I found a similar situation when I lived in the center of the hoity toity city but I just kept looking and I found one for cheap and was willing to travel a short distance

No gym costs $54 a week which gym are you joining because they usually have specials for new year’s
