@OlderSometimesWiser I just read through his messages again and actually I think he was attempting to scam me. I missed a message where he actually asked for my email address. I blocked him.

@PatientlyWaiting25 I don't want ANY of my personal info to get out!
NOBODY in my real life knows about the secrets I post here! And .... if they ever found them out, they would probably disown me!!!
Everything I post here is true except for my name. But I did upload a picture of one of my guitars.......

@PatientlyWaiting25 She (or he) is no longer here and the scam was trying to help sell art at an event. Needed the money to rent a space but would never tell me where or when. I went back through my old messages to see if I could refresh my memory but no luck.

@PatientlyWaiting25 I was lucky in the fact warnings were given to me long before as the dating sites were a lot worse. But they sure sound good when you’re lonely and depressed.

@SoftIceCream he seems maybe a bit too nice. I mean he could be a good guy but I am always more suspicious if someone stresses they "want meaningful connections" I am a widow also, I think a romance scammer might think that makes me more of a target.

@PatientlyWaiting25 Yes, perhaps your heart is lonely and you are longing to jump into a relationship, even if just to heal. A target for sure.

@SoftIceCream The opposite for me actually. I know I'm not ready but that doesn't stop scammers thinking I'm a target.

@MasterLee that's worth knowing. I do on reflection think that this guy was dodgy though. It was mostly a sense but he also did ask for my email after only a few messages. I think that's very suspicious.

@HikingMan SPAM is a big problem. If the Title was shorten we would have trolls posting & filling the feed with crap.
