December 2014...I remember some of the first interactions being on xmas posts and it was also just a couple weeks before my youngest was born. Which I celebrated with a couple acquaintances that I had made. Feels like that was 25 years ago. Amazing and almost sad how much my mindset and self has changed since then. I was a person with issues but a semi-hopeful person.

@BuzzedLightyear I was going through a lot of shit when I joined so yeah...pretty fuzzy between the problems with the ex wife that led to the excessive drinking it wasn't a great time in my life but EP definitely made things better. The connections I made with people there really helped

@istillhaveanameitsrick i was just funning with you because you didn't say a specific date. i think the majority of EP originals found the site due to problematic times in their life. i was just lonely myself. some things never change.
