I know im being petty

Basically i have this best friend we hit it off as soon as we met nearly 3 years ago but lately they have been spending a lot of time with one of my other friends who is also part of my original friendship group and it feels like ive been pushed out and they've formed a clique

They are still both your friend, so join them and make yourself more available to them both.

Friendship is not a clique it is a bond that should grow and not be measured, just shared and nurtured.

Sometimes, friends sense it when you are feeling a bit jealous or feeling as though you don't belong...and believe it or not, it becomes unattractive. My best recommendation is DON'T be NEEDY, and be a happy and healthy and unjealous person. Go your own way for a bit, work on not caring about this whole thing so much, and then come back after you've had a break.

A 3 year best friend isn't necessarily permanent in my experience... it's always 5 years and up...

@Yaaas24 Just seen so many people getting a "new best friend" in their early and mid 20'ies, and it was always impactful, but never lasted for some reason...
