Eh, depends on what you consider wasteful. Sometimes it can be, which may be the point of some coming here. They need that filler that requires little commitment and brain cells. It can be a relief to just exist in that for a bit. But there’s probably better ways one could spend their time if they’re not gathering anything from the experience here. Just depends on what’s needed or wanted in that moment.

But that's how many have chosen it as their preferred method of venting/addressing the world of their frustration.

And why social media owners now want you to pay for the stuff they were quite happy to distribute free until recently.

Just look at what has been withdrawn from YouTube and is now only available via streaming or paying for via 'memberships'.

No. I think it has less of a priority than EP had for sure. I have close friends here. And I enjoy some postings and questions and general stuff. I think people need to prioritize how much time they spend online. This includes on other sites as well.

Yes, I agree which is why I don’t spend much time here. But there are some really nice people here too and I enjoy saying hello to them if I they are here. But, on the whole, yes, it is very dull!

I've made a few great friends. So not for me. If I were into posting and replying and arguing perhaps. I do like to post once in a while but I don't get sucked down the rabbit hole.
