Yes! But most things in life are.

Eh, depends on what you consider wasteful. Sometimes it can be, which may be the point of some coming here. They need that filler that requires little commitment and brain cells. It can be a relief to just exist in that for a bit. But there’s probably better ways one could spend their time if they’re not gathering anything from the experience here. Just depends on what’s needed or wanted in that moment.

No. I think it has less of a priority than EP had for sure. I have close friends here. And I enjoy some postings and questions and general stuff. I think people need to prioritize how much time they spend online. This includes on other sites as well.

And why social media owners now want you to pay for the stuff they were quite happy to distribute free until recently.

Just look at what has been withdrawn from YouTube and is now only available via streaming or paying for via 'memberships'.
