Why are oeople too lazy to read other people's profiles?

For me personally it would ruin the element of surprise to learn they are in fact a complete psycho and had i read the profile i would have picked that up 🙄

I always read a profile, mainly so I don’t message someone who may not appreciate it.

We live in the fast food age of pretty much everything. It's all about the instant gratification and people don't have the patience to take their time to see everything someone has to say. Hopefully it'll retrogress a bit and people will begin to care a bit more.

Basic human selfishness.

They don't care what's there or really what you say directly to them for that matter for the most part as it'll be disregarded in favor of their own desires and agenda in the long run unless it aligns with things of their own that are found to be ideal.

It's kind of like romantic relationships. We all go in saying what we do and don't want... Agree on doing things a certain way, but often one isn't on the same page and puppetting responses just because it will get them closer to getting that hot guy or girl. They just hope you will like them so much by then that you'll feel obligated to put up with their bullshit and shut up about it.

To be fair and not all of them but i tend to think its more often the guys that dont or the ones that are here to just mess around and not be themselves..

Because they dont care about the other persons personality or interests thwy only want their sexual gratification

I do. Profiles are one of the most interesting things here

I wonder and ask that same question every time a Guy sends me a "Hi", "Hello", "What are you wearing right now" comment. It pisses me off and I always ask, "have you read my about me section yet" and they never had or do.

I feel your angst on this because male or female when messaged or sent a following, I always look at their profile to see what they are about and maybe seeking from me.

they want a quick fix. that is what the internet is all about.

Lol…. it’s just not often a need of mine. Seeing what people are doing on the boards paints a pretty clear picture for me.

You forgot the first P in people

Nobody reads anymore, they just assume. Like the closed sign on a store door and they try to open it anyway. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out

For me, I'm just not interested. Unless we were connected somehow or something piques my interest.

whaaaaa..they don't even read people's POSTS from the way so many of them get responded to.

Maybe peoples profiles aren’t interesting

I made mine too much of a novel to read

May be because they are not into

Instant gratification

I check them when I find someone interesting or if somebody messages me.

they dont think they have to XD

I'm always blocking people that message me, despite me having a do not message me message if I do not know them just below my message button.
