And if so, how long till you came back? Or have you ever thought about deactivating your account completely?

Been here everyday since it started and was there for the bloody mess on EP. I did get suspended for 3 months. They offered me a one day suspension but said they would expel me if one person complained.

Yeah, have taken several breaks lasting weeks to months. Life gets busy or complicated so breaks will happen, as they should. Don’t think I’ll ever officially deactivate though. I’ll just clean up my profile and leave one day to never return. Knowing there’ll be a little piece of me left behind here…well, I think that’s kinda neat.

But you spend so much time with the people on here they really do become a part of you and it’s hard to stay away

@Ashly i just don't see the point in deactivating. a good break goes a long way. it's nice to be able to come back after a while. i've taken breaks enough to know that 3 days is all it takes to break the desire to login daily

Ive deactivated many times, but never for very long. I think the longest ive been away was about 4 months back in the early days, before i'd really gotten involved in the community. Since then i've left after feeling bullied, or threatened, but in the last 2 years I've changed how i use this place and dont get so involved, so i haven't felt the need to step away.

@Ashly Both times I have come back, it's been because I have had some kind of stuckness or lull in my life. This becomes a place for procrastination, distraction and so on and whenever something like that is going on in my life, the pull to this place is stronger. Because of what it offers.
Otherwise, no - I generally do not miss this place.
