I do now, five years ago my dad lost our house do to my medical bills. I’ve always felt very guilty about that. We finally got back on our feet and bought a house a few blocks away from where I grew up. We lived for the past five years in two different apartments, and I never really felt at home. I felt like we were on vacation because the apartments for a pre-luxurious, but as for apartments go, it’s not a lifestyle that’s very fun. I finally feel like I’m back home and I’m glad to be here.

Nope. 230 miles away and 60 something years later. Many house moves around the country. Parents moving for work and now us moving to improve home life while our kids were at home. Recently retiring to the coast. Haven’t been back to my home town for over 30 years. It had changed so much then and no doubt even more now so it’s best lodged in my childhood memory in the days of steam trains, pounds shillings and pence and black & white television.
