The notifications for I want to play a word game have disappeared.

Oh this is very interesting indeed. And not what I thought at all.
You see thousands of replies have been removed from that post as well.
Press the "Last" button and you will see hundreds if not thousand of blank pages.

Have you tried resetting the "No notification" button back to "All Replies to post"?
