Yes... If it wasn't for my man, I would be gone tonight. Let's just say, I'm glad I saw the narcissism, bullying and gaslighting nice and early this time. It only took an hour and 5 different ways of me being called stupid and a racist for me to see the light and block them.

Nah. Seems like too much of a hassle considering I wouldn’t want to leave a trace of me behind. But the pull to X it all out. Toss my phone to the side and go about doing other things without looking back? That’s a nearly daily thing even though this place’s downsides shouldn’t have that level of power over me or any of us. The pull back comes from the people you speak of though. Those few who make this place salvageable. Lawd love ‘em.

Sometimes I find that the type or quantity of people is lacking. I think about logging off. SW has provided me with an outlet to express myself and even brought me company when I was sad and alone. I keep my account as a kind of social safety net for those times that I need to talk to someone.

yeah, but I'd regret it, I fell into the trap of making connections with some people on here, more so than IRL people in some cases. I take breaks from SW every now and then, so I suppose I'll be here until it goes kaput like EP or admins ban me for "offending" too many snowflakes with my perfect sarcasm... 🤔

I'm really glad you've found that there are indeed kind and compassionate people here, ones who have given you hugs and advice when you needed it. Some days it can make all the difference. You're a kind person and deserve the good things you've found here in this place.

As for myself, plenty of times, and still do want to shut my account... but not until I've found a viable alternative place to call my new home so to speak, and ensured that I've brought someone over.
