That slogan has at least two possible meanings and it always makes me pause and think.

Which do you think it means?
i think it means an idealised delusional reinforcing of an advertising meme that is basically bullshit .

ie, Redbull gives you wings .

Both absolute crap to suck you in .

Edit: Not saying SW is bullshit, just saying, when it comes to the initial popularity and lure of a product, its all in the packaging.

I was thinking of this this morning.
An experience I had this morning brought to mind the exact same thing someone posted about a few months ago.
I thought, "Yes, people the world over do have similar experiences. No matter what I may be experiencing, many others go through the same thing.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
@Gusman That is a beautiful way to look at it.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Neither really.

I like to think of it as: Someone "might" be similar to you in certain ways.

Notice the logo looks very "similar" to "Yin/Yang" symbol. Yet it's not really the same. It's sort of similar.

[big]SW[/big]

[big]Yin/Yang[/big]
Note the traditional symbol the male, yang and lighter color is looking down on the female, yin and darker color.

Where in the SW symbol they are side by side. "Sort of" looking across from each other. And both are close color shades of each other.

Similar, yet totally different.

Even the color shade roles are different. The lighter blue (supposedly male) mostly on the right instead of the left.

Again, similar, yet totally different.

The logo symbol says it all.
@DeWayfarer Color interpretation adds richness to the title.

@DeWayfarer that is such an interesting interpretation, thank you!

{@servantofthegoddess] to be honest i never look too deeply into that just take similar worlds for what it is a chat site
Fluffybull · F
@smiler2012 Yep! Over-analysing is never good....👏😉
Rutterman · 46-50, M
I'm assuming it means you can find people here with interests and experiences similar to yours.
bookerdana · M
We are people who hide behind screen names and are desperate 🤓
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I think it’s supposed to mean we're all the same and somehow that is supposed to be comforting.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
First one, but I can see how it can be confusing.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
@SumKindaMunster I feel like the first one is what it means on the surface, but it is intended to subliminally make us think the second one. "ooh, the people here like me!"
Dolimyte · 41-45, M
It's a reminder that I am liked and where.

Different DNAs, similar lives.
LilPrincess · 41-45, F
None of the above
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Neither. I think people in life may have similar problems or experiences they’ve worked their way through. It’s really just a “commonality” pitch.
revenant · F
It is just advertising you know. They are not going to say You will find many people to hate :)
The obvious one.
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
@MsSwan that people like me? :D
It will usually be clear from the context.
RedBaron · M
There are two possibilities.
Elanor · F
It means we are all apart of SW - a Sh!tty World. 🌎🏆
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
The first one
Lilnonames · F
I always though we was all on the same world
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
@Lilnonames yeah, the name "similar worlds" is pretty weird if you think of it that way :D
Lilnonames · F
@ServantOfTheGoddess and it is wierd lol
