rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@katielass: I appreciate your comment very much.
katielass · F
@rottenrobi: and I appreciate your non-hostile reaction to what probably seemed to be an insult. :)
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@katielass: Oh, i was hostile for a second! Lol!
i do recognize how people view California. You're great katielass! ;)
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
No, we'll probably fall into the ocean before that happens. We wouldn't make it on our own, as much Id like to think we could.
chrisCA · M
@AllisonMarkov: At least he hasn't sexted some young girl, or has this holier than thou attitude, only to be caught with a prostitute.
Lizabee · F
@chris62ca: men are so scummy...right?
chrisCA · M
@Lizabee: 🤔
Shadowstep · 26-30, M
No but like half of Texas is if the border wall gets built
Shadowstep · 26-30, M
@katielass: he said a WALL not BARRIERS all of his rallies he bragged about how big and strong his WALL would be and that it'll keep illegals out.. in all honesty its completely pointless and wouldn't stop anything
katielass · F
i don't care what you think. I know the truth.
Shadowstep · 26-30, M

@katielass: no Katie the barriers are completely idiotic and a waste of our tax money
popmol · 22-25, M

popmol · 22-25, M
@Lizabee: forgive me for not understanding why you would apologise for my English
Lizabee · F
@popmol: forgive me for ending this thread
popmol · 22-25, M
@Lizabee: i do not mind and i understand
probably not, talk in texas years ago after Obama was elected was similar

it's all talk
It not relevant to my comment, and it's also false.

If Texas or California (or any other state) were to leave the union it's illegal and treason.

If your goal is to make relevant comments to this entire thread then make your own damn comment. Since it's targeted at me I have every right to shit talk it, especially since it's a lie.

Excerpt from Texas V. White where Texas was sueing for bonds sold illegally during the civil war where Texas Argued that it was impossible for Texas to have seceded because they 1) no legal grounds to secede 2) the union is industructible so it is impossible to dismantle any part of it.
Chase, [Chief Justice], ruled in favor of Texas on the ground that the Confederate state government in Texas had no legal existence on the basis that the secession of Texas from the United States was illegal. The critical finding underpinning the ruling that Texas could not secede from the United States was that, following its admission to the United States in 1845, Texas had become part of "an indestructible Union, composed of indestructible states." In practical terms, this meant that Texas has never seceded from the United States.
That is why the the Constitution sought to establish a more perfect Union, which is perpetual in it's existence which is carried over from the Articles of the Confederation.

So don't tell me some bullshit about ignorance, you're literally sprouting lies and essentially saying Texas has grounds for treason. Secession is Treason, anyone who thinks they have a valid reason to remove a state from the union is a traitor. I don't know who you are but educated and a patriot you are not.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@TwilitSona: I do believe the only valid grounds for secession is revolution. Which would be treasonous in itself, but a successful revolution would make that a moot point.
@UndeadPrivateer: Exactly, the only way to secede is to be a traitor and to succeed in revolting making the criminality of your actions irrelevant
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I always figured Texas would go first, then the South. It's inevitable this pitiful broken country will fall apart sooner or later. I might try to move to California if they do leave.
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@hunkalove: Texas tried. but quickly took it back.
AllisonMarkov · 22-25, F
@rottenrobi: I thought they're doing it again or something?
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@AllisonMarkov: I doubt it, but I could be wrong.
hmmm, now I'm curious. lol
Tminus6453 · M
They would last a year at most if they seperated
Lizabee · F
@Tminus6453: WTF? Where do you get your info? Lol
Tminus6453 · M
@Lizabee: It wouldnt even be an issue if Hillary won..
Lizabee · F
@Tminus6453: it's not an issue. Again, where are you getting this from?
SW-User
nope its just all rhetoric. when their state is so opposing to the power in govt. they want out. like what sona said about tx when obama was in office. nothing happens. its just all hot steam because they arent in political power.
SW-User
Don't think so. This is something I heard a few of my Cali peeps talk about. I dunno if it's possible or if the desire to do so is still there.
Lizabee · F
@Purpleintelligence: the man behind the faux scheme is now residing in Russia 😊
Gauntlets28 · 26-30, M
Could do, but if it did it'd have to raise taxes on those billionaires to stay viable.
Lizabee · F
@Gauntlets28: we have
Dolimyte · 41-45, M
It could happen, but most likely wont. Not any time soon anyway
Lizabee · F
