Is California leaving America?

@MasterLee: Glad to hear. My family is very conservative and are usually quite loyal to their party, but even they couldn't support Arnold.

@rottenrobi: I don't support a party completely. I do recognize party trumps person. The problem is worse in ca, il, ny, because even the opposition is too close to the same.

I can see how for anyone outside of California looking in, even the conservatives swing pretty far to the left.

@rottenrobi: It's the same way in some red states. The dems are more conservative. Take Texas, putting aside the nut jobs in both parties, the dems here are definitely more conservative than dems elsewhere. One difference I've noted is that dems tend to toe the party line even if they don't agree with it. Repus are mush less inclined to do that.

Very true. Our country is a mess right now with so many different ideas and no one to rally us all together. I don't know who that one person could be, and Id hate to think it would take a tragedy to bring us together. Something has to give though.
