Is California leaving America?

I know we are, but if we have a disaser, say if the dam breaks, we'll need federal aid. We don't have a military to defend ourselves from an unforeseeable fight, and other considerations.
I just don't think we're prepared for it.

No, war is not my main concern, but defending ourself is something to think about. I agree, its a stupid idea. I would much rather see us split the state into 2 separate states, before leaving the union.

@rottenrobi: the two states has two versions. First it was north and south because of water rights. The newest is east and west for political reasons. Both very bad reasons but the second one is vile

I'm in the North and feel very strongly about the water issue. I'm so glad the drought is over for now, as I believe it would have become a huge problem, imho.. The east and west is ridiculous.

This one law, I personally give a pass to most who have broken it in the past. I would much rather know he smoked weed, then regularly got wasted drinking alcohol.
Drinking to any degree is more of a concern for me personally, then pot.
