What is one cuisine of food you just can't get into/just don't like?

I can't get into indian food. The spices don't agree with my stomach for some reason

Thai or Korean

I don't like the flavor combos or the heat.

I have tried so many times to get into Indian food but I just can’t do it! I really love the flavors of all the spices, but it always upsets my stomach and I end up feeling really bloated. I think that it’s one of the best cuisines in the world and I love how many different options there are, but it just never works out for me. I keep trying though because I really want to like it!

@fakable You don't have to eat the stuff they dish out at Indian restaurants. Try cooking yourself using fresh green chillies, onions, garlic, ginger, cumin, and a dash of turmeric.

@fakable i love the idea of it and think it's interesting but the spices just hurt me

@FutureIdol What spices? Turmeric is not spicy at all and has health benefits.

In India, it was traditionally used for disorders of the skin, upper respiratory tract, joints, and digestive system. Today, turmeric is promoted as a dietary supplement for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, allergies, liver disease, depression, and many others. (Wikipedia)

If the green chilly is too hot, cut it down to a few slices or use a sprinkle of cracked chili pepper flakes.
Mac and Cheese

It's basically little yellow maggots in cum sauce. Everyone loves it apparently.

Hard to tell, I think we're only getting modified versions of their dishes in our local restaurants and I haven't tried many cuisines anyway. We had Western Ukrainians on Easter here last year and I found their food a bit odd but maybe it was just that particular dish...

There are Hmong restaurants in a nearby city. I have never been excited about that cuisine.

{@futureidol] pasta in any shape or form
FutureIdol · 31-35, M
@smiler2012 why pasta?
smiler2012 · 56-60
@FutureIdol 🤔 just find it bland tasteless and needs something to give it flavour basically

Mexican. No offense.
I like Indian food. I haven’t really liked the Korean food I’ve tried, but it’s been limited.

@MarmeeMarch Stay away from Indian eateries that serves lunch to westerners for $5.95. The same goes for all you can eat Chinese buffet lunch at Dragon Palace for 8 bucks.

Indian cuisine is right up there with the best western culture can offer in New York, Paris or Rome.
