then of course not that’s your choice. if it’s life threatening i think you should do it but if not then they shouldn’t force u or anything

I would say no but if your appendix needs removing it will have to be done.
....
Because...
Appendicitis happens when the appendix becomes inflamed. Early symptoms can vary between age groups, and they can be confused with symptoms of other conditions.

The symptoms can be uncomfortable, painful, and potentially life-threatening if left untreated, so it is important to be able to recognize them

Generally, no. That said, the hospital could conceivably do a psychiatric admit on you, saying that you are a threat to yourself, at which time they could perform surgery on you if it is judged to be essential to save your life. There would probably need to be court orders thrown into the mix there at some point.

@DunningKruger I don't won't my appendix out do to religious beliefs when it comes to medications
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@Wolfgirl567 That's your choice, and if you make clear that it's a religious objection, then they will very likely honor your wishes and let you die a horrible, painful, extended death because your decisions are informed by fairy tales. That's up to you, though.

If there is nothing wrong with it, then no, they can not remove it.
Huge law suit if they do it without your permission.

So, did your appendix explode and kill you yet?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Wolfgirl567 Darn. There's always next time.
Wolfgirl567 · 31-35, F
@LordShadowfire I'm just going to drink bleach and kill myself tonight
