I don't agree with Local Government Executives receiving such large redundancy packages

I do agree with Local Government Executives receiving large redundancy packages.

When most of us are struggling to make ends meet Councils are handing out large redundancy payments to their Chief Executive's my local council recently done the same, not one but three Executives it's a funny old world.

There's a two-tier system in this old world in my opinion, go on vote I'd like to know what the rest of you think about this, you have my opinion and bye the way I live in Wales not Selby.

These people are always in "public" office for their own benefit. It's almost never about serving the people.

@smiler2012 Yes, my local Council recently gave out three such redundancy packages and got away with it.

I think the point is why do we have these people in the first place, before discussing how much we pay them.

@meJess I don't think they need to earn so much in the first place, it's simply not right, bear in mind these Councils are in so much debt.
