What is the purpose of the idea of time?

Iv figured out my own understanding of what time might be. I now choose to view it as a tool to measure and account for sequences of events in our span of life. But is their more of a motive for bringing its concept into creation? Do we have to believe in it? What if it didn't exist for you?

When I was in the van time was irrelevant. We went by the sun, the weather, our bellies, all instinct. We slept great. Never knew what day it was. Being present was incredible. It’s not a modern concept, I can see why farmers and astrologers tracked the skies. These days it’s used for control, the goal is to be busy. Not to celebrate the full moon with smoke and sex and howling and dancing. Or to know when to plant certain crops. I personally don’t care for it. I deal with it because it’s life, but staying in the present is your best bet. Sorry I’m high

@RebelFox well said must be a mind expanding buzz. Onward through the fog.
Time is just one of three things necessary to exist in this universe. It just is. You have to have mass and be somewhere but not in the same place as another mass since two solids can't occupy the same space at the same time so you exist somewhere at some time as a solid basically with a buzz. Pass it over to me.
One thing scientists never Jack with is time. One thing time cannot do is go backwards. Nevermind I might be high enough.

@RebelFox iv been wanting to try that for years. Im even designing a self sufficient cabin So i could just leave for months. Maybe one day il be able to afford one of the ideas i come up with lol
In this life, relative or real, that we are breathing/living in, concept of time stands supreme.

All is time bounded, birth, death, sickness, recovery, exam, result, job, recovery period after long ailments.
That explains to move alongwith this strong entity: Time.

time is made up by man , a way too measure a length of time , to complete a task for pay or just another way to judge distance from one place to another and other various reasons , although space and gravity can also effect time and speed to relative to time , and also ones own perceptions of time and space or distance and speed

Seems like it automatically came with earth — changing of seasons, day n night, etc and on to more complex patterns.
It’s just a measure of our days and nights, simply put.

You cannot really choose not to believe in time, that would be like choosing not to believe in causality.
