I prefer living in the country, mainly because it's dark at night, and also because I can watch the wild geese fly over the lake at sunrise. I sometimes wish I could fly with them, but I have no wings.

Countryside, more nature and less people.

The coutryside. I like being able to breathe easily and walk for hours without feeling boxed in 🙂

I am disabled but if I get my licence back I would rather live in the countryside .I have never been a towny and like the quieter life of nature and country with no neighbours living on top of me .

I've lived all three, and both urban and countryside have their advantages. Other than being close to the grandkids, suburban hasn't offered either. And the grandkids are off to college now -- one in an urban setting, one in a more countryside setting. Personally, I prefer the stimulus, variety, and alternative options of urban life. Although I miss some of the solitude and communing with nature that rural countryside provides.

Countryside is cool to visit, but yeah, I’d rather live in the city for the reasons you listed.
Also, I don’t really know what you’d call the place where I actually do live. It’s too big to be called rural, too small to be called urban, but it’s not close enough to a big city to be called suburban either.

Countryside. Because apparently I'm boring. Although that might be because I've lived in big cities all my life, so I'd like something nicer.

There's more job opportunities in a city but I prefer the countryside. Because England is a small country I only live 30 miles from the nearest major city, which is Birmingham. I live in a well-developed and popular town but I'm not that fond of it. What countryside there is here is limited and you can't find any places to really be alone. A forest for instance is more like a tiny woodland.

@SW-User That’s cool

I live in the mountains where it’s quiet because there are no shopping malls and no traffic.
ElizabethBabe1994 · 26-30, F
@jackson55 I don’t think I can do that that sounds boring but I live your life.

@ElizabethBabe1994 That’s why not many your age live here.

I love the quiet and solitude of being in the country. Sipping bourbon on a porch at night while only wearing my skivvies is wonderful
I used to like the idea of city living but property taxes are higher there..
