I've lived all three, and both urban and countryside have their advantages. Other than being close to the grandkids, suburban hasn't offered either. And the grandkids are off to college now -- one in an urban setting, one in a more countryside setting. Personally, I prefer the stimulus, variety, and alternative options of urban life. Although I miss some of the solitude and communing with nature that rural countryside provides.
