My brief attempt at colored fashion contacts was a trial by fire. Hoping to change my eye color to something a little more flattering.
The eye can't stand a speck of dust, let alone a contact. Was like poking myself in the eyeball every time and fighting not to tear up.
And your technique has to be down--wet finger then touch lens. Often I didnt get it dead center beneath the lids.
Never again.

@Mellowgirl :D I feel like even if I could put them in I would still freak out that my eyes will get infected or something. I tend to have problems with eyes even without lenses so I don't really want to add up to that.

@CrazyMusicLover ahhh that sucks. I've slept with them in once or twice they generally just go a bit dry. But once you follow the covid hand hygiene protocol and either air dry or use not lint paper towels so you don't get fluff on your fingers you should be fine. But I understand. It's hit for everyone

@Royrogers they can be very drying or feel scratchy. It helps to try different brands but obviously if its too unbearable why put yourself at risk?

Good transition lenses get dark fast and come light indoors pretty quickly.

@gdon39 I find here unless you spell things out so Crystal people answer however they want and even when I take my time to do that I still get people saying what they want because people don't actually read, to answer they read just to speak.

@Mellowgirl yeah sorry. Shoulda said.. still glasses. But it’s like I’m not wearing them. Feels like my young eyes..

@Mellowgirl my prescription is pretty high and I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands so I don’t think I could manage to get them in.
I like glasses and have a collection so I can always match to any outfit.

I write in the way I speak.
Anyone I've ever spoken to understand when I say lenses I'm talking about contacts. But here people read what they want and assume that's what I'm talking about.
In the event I was talking about transition lenses for glasses then that comment would have been fine but that's not what I was asking.
