Glasses wearers... How do you find the transition to contact lenses?
I keep poking between my brows in an attempt to adjust my glasses grrr.

My brief attempt at colored fashion contacts was a trial by fire. Hoping to change my eye color to something a little more flattering.
The eye can't stand a speck of dust, let alone a contact. Was like poking myself in the eyeball every time and fighting not to tear up.
And your technique has to be down--wet finger then touch lens. Often I didnt get it dead center beneath the lids.
Never again.

@SethGreene531 what colour eyes are you and where you trying to change to?
I have brown eyes but tried to tried grey they actually looked nice.

@Mellowgirl Grey eyes are uncommon, but they are stunning. That would have been very nice! Yeah if you find it, that would be neat.
Mine are kinda an amber. I wanted something with a lot facets in it, that caught the light. From amber, overlaying the right color and iris pattern, I wanted to turn it into something like this:

@SethGreene531 it's weird how lighting changes so much. Anyways here are some close ups

Yeah, I'm amazed what difference lighting, time of day, even your choice of light bulbs will do to the appearance of things.

@SethGreene531 Yea i trialed Hazel and the grey then stuck with the grey. My eyes in the light are really bright but without it, they are incredibly dark you can hardly tell between iris and pupil.
Also as I'm anaemic that effects the shade of my eyes, lower iron brighter the colour and my skin also gets very pale.
It's bizarre.
I always get complimented when I wear the grey as they're just so unusual but as you said tasteful.

@Mellowgirl Yeah the hazel is a little on the dark side, a brown-green mix.
So opting for grey was the right move. Grey eyes take on an almost silver-grey appearance when light strikes them directly.
Amazing to know Anemia affects them so much. That is bizarre...pale skin you'd expect, but eyes..wow.

Today, some errands, a bit of stuff around the house. Some patio time later.

@SethGreene531 today's been rather chilled. It started off a little off with an appointment mix up but it all seems sorted now.
But I slept for a couple of hours this afternoon. My hormones ugh!
But I got quite a bit of stuff done since. Just waiting for the chicken to be done in the oven so I can have some salad to go with.

Gotta love those early morning Appts. Especially the surprise call insisting you were booked, when the card clearly states 2 weeks from now.
I had a 6:30 AM one a while back..yaaaay.🤒🤦♂️
Nothing like a solid sleep...esp. on rainy afternoons. Sometimes just what you need to reset.
Or that sense of accomplishment, with your feet up and a good meal on its way😋😌
Yum. Love salads--meal in itself.
Sounds delicious, I miss my bbq basted chicken!--but they discontinued my sauce.
Save me a drumstick?
