I save time and generally eat off the cutting board.
Fewer dishes that way. 😉

I tend to wash even as I am cooking. I rarely ever let them pile up.
In fact that's a good way to see if I am sick, tired or feeling extremely down.
Yet that rarely matters since it's just myself for the last 15 years.

I wait about an hour after a meal and clean up the dishes. If I'm really tired I may leave a few dishes until later/night.

I do it mostly straight away
saragoodtimes · F
scrape, rinse and put in the dishwasher right away
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
I like to do them right away but if my back is hurting I have to go sit down awhile. For some reason standing at the kitchen sink stresses my back, I guess I have to bend a little while washing dishes.

@cherokeepatti it would bother me to no end knowing there's a dirty dish, glass or cup in the sink. I couldn't sleep
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@saragoodtimes I was doing dishes at 11:30 last night before I went to sleep.

When there's no space left on the worktop by the sink, I wash up. So glad I've got one-and-a-half sinks to be able to rinse first

I always wash em or put em in the dishwasher. No dirty dishes on the counter.

I pile them up for the dishwasher

Pile up.......
I try to clean right away, but sometimes I'm just too damn tired.

It depends on what's on them. If it won't come off with a little bit of scrubbing, I let it soak.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire yep same here . you ever cook using brown sugar ? , don't the stuff sticks to Frying pans like Enamel , even soaking in soapy water does nothing , had to throw the frying pan out
