belief has no relation to reality.

@ThoughtGuy
So this is where you end your thoughts, pretty thoughtful.
ThoughtGuy · 26-30, M
@Pfuzylogic it's 1:40 am here, I want to sleep. and don't ever assume someone who disagrees to have not given any thought. That is a fallacy.
and one theory doesn't disprove another until it has been proven.

also, don't just throw a vague statement of something out there and expect people to know what you are talking about, it does not make you look good.

If you want to talk about this in detail and in length later dm me with a summery of what study/theory you were referring to.

Until then, goodnight.

And with that he exits stage right.
Nice fake but I can tell a diversion.
Sweet dreams.

That all depends on what you mean by "believe in."

If for you, belief is just a matter of being factual, then you are missing out on the entire poetic side of life.

For example, I believe in "Beauty and the Beast." I believe that often, someone needs to be loved before they become loveable. And there is evidence for this: many "troubled youth" who turned their lives around when they found somebody who cared about them and believed in them.

Like the one about the election being stolen from Trump?😂😂😂
dark548 · M
@RedBaron especially that one
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
You’re going to have to ask Donald Trump that one 😂😂
You mean that Peter Pan isn't real??? 🥺
dark548 · M
@HootyTheNightOwl not in this world maybe in a different one
BalmyNites · F

Because they are real, of course 💜
If it’s not science, it’s superstition. No middle ground.
Pfuzylogic · M
@BlueSkyKing
Thank you for that.
The truth is that many models that are accepted as theories don’t go through that process let alone a thorough error analysis before it is accepted as “truth”.
I present big bang as the most recent victim of pseudo science. Data predicted has not been data received.
@Pfuzylogic The Cosmic Microwave Background radiation is real. Nobel Prizes given to those that found it.

@BlueSkyKing
Then you know what I am talking about.
I really wasn’t sure how sophisticated your back ground in science was. A lot of people will call religion a fairy tale but not know a thing on science.
The CMB provided evidence that the assumption of the universe was expanding was the the source.
Or do you have any idea what I am talking about ?
How did we come to the superstition of walking under a ladder being unlucky???

It certainly would have been unlucky in the old days when we didn't have the basics in place to ensure they didn't fall so easily as they used to...

They lie to themselves so deeply it's become delusional? And they probably still have emotional immaturity.
Pfuzylogic · M
There are sooooo many stories from science and religion that haven’t been proven wrong until recently.

Never grew up or lived a lot of real life and didn't have much grief and loss.
