@ people who jaywalk about 10 metres away from a pedestrian crossing, why?

Just watched this person walk in front of a oncoming bus. They just kept casually walking past while the bus had to suddenly break.
I can only assume it is someone who doesn't know how oncoming traffic and pedestrian crossings work haha.

I was thinking about that at the supermarket today. People sailing out of the store into the crosswalk without even a glance. Of course you're supposed to stop, and of course, I did - but will everyone always?

@Mamapolo2016 yes! I've seen this. I've had a few moments where cars just speed past the crosswalks, not even slowing down. Now I'm always catious and checking to make sure the cars are slowing down. Makes me so nervous to see other people not care 😨
