@ people who jaywalk about 10 metres away from a pedestrian crossing, why?

Just watched this person walk in front of a oncoming bus. They just kept casually walking past while the bus had to suddenly break.
I can only assume it is someone who doesn't know how oncoming traffic and pedestrian crossings work haha.
