I think the US should do everything it can to put women on a level playing field with men and that our culture should inspire women to run for political office. But I don't believe in choosing a female president for the purpose of choosing a female president, simply because prioritizing a relatively trivial trait like that will often require you to turn your back to presidents whose actual policies would benefit women more. You don't have to have a vagina to help out people who have vaginas.

Tbh I think it’s time to end the presidency and begin a more than 2 party council like the Swiss.

I'd love to see a female president. But it is about picking the best candidate for the job. There was a case when it was a female but it didn't work out then.

I don't think we need a female president or a male president for that matter. Either sex can screw things up equally well in my opinion, I think what we really need in politics in this country is less lawyers and more people who have actually had jobs, balanced a checkbook, instead of people who finish school, get into government and stay there for the next 40 years with little real world experience. Look at how many senators and congressmen have been in office for decades, they line up every 4 years to see if one of them can be POTUS after having spent 40 years fixing nothing. I don't care which sex the next POTUS is as long as they do the right thing.

Political party and gender aside, just give me the one that's going put this country first and not themselves, or their personal interests.
