Would you rather live in Africa or the middle east?
Both places seem to be horrible places to live. I guess I'd live in Africa if I had to pick.

That entirely depends on where in Africa and the middle East.
Not all places are the same in terms of security and overall life quality.
In fact, as an African and someone who's been in the Middle East very frequently, I can tell you many live better lives than many of the westerners I know.

I would choose to live in South Africa, most likely. I have a friend there and the place has a lot of problems, but I could make it work. I doubt I'd live in the Middle East--living in a place where one religion dominates and I'm not of that religion doesn't appeal to me much (probably why I could never live in Utah).

@YukikoAmagi there are examples of white people immigrating to those countries, like to South Africa or the UAE. Some of us can assimilate without being disrespectful or without feeling trapped.

Africa. For those of you who dont know both places have cities and towns where there is no violence and no chaos at all. I saw a documentary about this. I have friends from both places. And it appears to me that you like many Americans are VERY ignorant about whats going on on the other side of the world. Its not as bad as you think it is. Id rather live over there than in Chicago for sure. 馃檪
