However, If you didn't have a pet, then it could be a random animal, but still you can adopt if it's possible. But please if you can't treat him well, don't take him. You can give him to a better place.

We get a cat that’s a stray maybe just see if it needs food, if not just let it lay beside you till it feels time to leave, some cats do that.
