Some guy threatened to block me for using the word gay. Is it a bad word?

Context matters but online, it’s easy to misread context and inflection. If the person is so easily disturbed that they won’t try to get clarification, than it’s probably for the best. Just saying.

Just say you're using it in the old way, where it means happy essentially, problem avoided.

The word 'gay' hijacked my another group of people. Means nice, pleasant etc. Queers are queers, homo's are homo's call it what it is. Judging doesn't come into it.

He just nuisance. Gay means happy and also homosexual. I don't see any offensive. Maybe offensive to hetero (some people easily triggered for being called 'gay').
