What is the one area in your life, where you feel like something is missing?

@Elfintrog I met the woman that was the love of my life (ended three years ago, so "of my life" was a dream) in a Social Site (NOT a dating one) where to I was invited by...one of her daughters (a friend) and her sister (my then accountant in another city).
I still wonder and will never know if it was really an accident, as they say...🤔

@CharlieZ I'm sorry it ended, do you find your subconsciously comparing every women you now meet to her?

But to the experience of a love in my (our) sixties.
That, believe me, is not trivial.

@Elfintrog I'm not being negative for the sake of being negative. I'm just being honest. I'm in hell right now and all I get is people thinking that blind positivity is enough to help. It's not.

Talk is cheap. Anybody can say nice things and not mean them. It just minimizes other people's pain

@Elfintrog yes it is. We watched it happen with our in laws, but didn't really think it would happen. Now our friends are moving, getting sick and or dying.
