I come from the big city and while it is convenient for the social being... I love the country side.
Rural settings are peaceful and it’s somewhat liberating of the pressures the public imposes.
The people in secluded towns can be a bit odd, but sometimes they’re interesting to experience.

@Addictedtoglamour I don't get what you mean by they don't seem real...but as for the staring down, that happens everywhere. I've had that feeling in the bigger cities I've been in, and I have found the people in bi cities/areas to be less friendly and helpful.

Most of the time people in small towns are super nice. Sometimes they can be a bit creepy, or druggy/methy. At times, the town is obviously dying, and that's just depressing.
