Do you feel like the 18-21 y.o age group adds value here?

You may have still been a kid at our age, but last time I checked 18 year olds are adults and many act like adults on here as well. I've seen middle aged people acting very immature, just like many other age groups. That's the internet. And especially this site isn't considered a very serious one, so it doesn't matter what's your age, you're still going to say some stupid things if you're stupid.

I base value on the person, not their age. Some of the most ridiculous conversations I’ve seen around here are among older people. I participate in a lot of them. But I digress......

Based on most of the posts that I have seen from that age group I think most are actually under 18. That being said there’s no way to actually limit the age group of people on a website. It’s like clicking past the verification that you’re 18 on porn sites in middle school.

Yes, I do feel that many of the 18-21 year olds bring value to this site. I have seen some very intelligent posts from some of them. And no, I don't wish that this was a "no under 22" site. I understand that maturity usually comes with age, but not always. I see exceptions to that on here all the time. I see some 20-somethings who are very mature, and every now and then I see someone older than myself who is incredibly immature. It really depends more on the person than the age.

I’m 19 and I’m pretty mature. Not all young people are immature. To be adults are 21 or over. Anyone under 20 or 21 is a teenager not an adult in my opinion but age doesn’t define maturity. I’ve had members over 22 bully and harrass me some even in their 40s. Just proves my point
