Harold and Maude One of the great comedies of all time with a poignant theme of love, loss and the joy of being your own unique person. Unforgettable.
A Portrait of Jenny A great romantic classic about lovers who meet outside of the usual time frame. Haunting and unusual.
Bringing Up Baby
Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn in a hilarious old comedy about a very eccentric woman meeting a very nervously conservative man.
North by Northwest A great old Hitchcock movie starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint. A fun loving advertising executive is mistaken for a CIA spy by an enemy agent.
The Late Show starring the great actor Art Carney playing an elderly detective left over from the 1930s noir era working together with ditsy a young woman to solve a murder. A really fun comedy/detective story.
Singing in the Rain A truly fun movie, a musical about the awkward and often hilarious change from silent to sound movies in the late 1920s (but this film was made in the 1950s). Some of the funniest situations and lines you'll ever see in a movie and the best singing and dancing numbers ever.
Double Indemnity A noir film of the 1940s, got an Academy Award which it deserved. An insurance salesman falls for another man's wife and they scheme to eliminate him. Great dialogue, great plot, great acting.

I do like Die Hard, but there IS no movie "women like." The question is, what sort of movies does YOUR woman (or potential woman) like? The best way to find that out is to ask her.
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@Mamapolo2016 OK, what romantic movies women generally like? Besides Titanic, notebook and avatar.
Mamapolo2016 · F
@Dan193 I love the old schmaltzy ones, but I'm not 22-25. Out of Africa is a great movie and has a great love story (he dies at the end so maybe you'll get to hold her while she cries).
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@Mamapolo2016 ok, thanks, I'll check the trailers for the recommended movies. And go from there.

A movie you like. So you can both see if you like your movie choices which is important in healthy relationship imo.

Everyone is different. I like sci-fi and action/suspense.
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@Straylight ok, thanks, somebody else mentioned that as well.
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
It varies.

@PrivatePeeks Which do you like? Romantic/comedy
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
@Dan193 I'm strange. I like action adventure
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@PrivatePeeks OK, which one do you like from action, adventure?
YourBuddyRandall · 31-35, M
Just treat her like a person and ask. XD
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@YourBuddyRandall What if she says: surprise me.
Jurassic Park
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@canusernamebemyusername Which part? I haven't seen any. Which one is better, and do you have to watch the first movie to understand the rest?
@Dan193 Not a lot. They are fairly stand alone. But Id recommend the first one. That way any of the other make sense. Also it is the scariest one.
