1st example: Melissa could have travelled back in time and could have shot the assaulters father before the assaulters conception. That way his assaulting a$$ would never have been born.

2nd example: She can wear medeival armor at all times. The armor discourages giant a-hole assaulters from believing the armor wearer is a sexual object.

3rd example: Melissa can wear a T-shirt at all times with giant letters right across her chest, saying, "Come and Get It!!! Genital Herpes!!!" That might discourage at least ONE sexual assaulter.

4th example: Melissa can shave her head and wear boy clothes, and sneer at all men, in order to deceive sexual assaulters into believing she is a man hating lesbian.

It's not victim blaming. It's just common sense, preventive moves.

The North Korean government emprison and/or kill American tourists. If I say don't go to North Korea, would you blame me for encouraging their criminal behavior?

@eMortal I get that and don’t see anything wrong with that but what i’m not okay with is the woman being held responsible [b]after[/b] the assault, because that’s what it is [b]assault.[/b] We as humans, not women or men but as humans always do and tell loved ones to stay safe, so again I see nothing wrong in being cautious but why does this school think it’s okay to teach these kids that the one responsible is the victim? That’s not “common sense” it’s victim blaming and ostracism.

As for that example, there’s a huge difference between 2 hostile countries and 2 sex’s. You’re pretty much implying that “men will be men” and it’s on the women to prevent themselves from being raped. No, how about men start taking responsibility. That’d be a great start, thanks.
