My snarky side goes into overdrive and I shovel their figurative crap back onto their side of the fence.

@LyricalOne It`s a good thing I`m sitting down after reading that. 😧

@Degbeme Deg, you're great. You always make me smile.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Serenitree awww.. I`m very happy I do. 🤗

Ignore them for the most part. Because someone says it`ll illegal to kill them. 🙄

Talk to them like they are simple, really slow and methodical, in a patronizing tone, really really polite and nice.
Serenitree · F
@Groofydorkgerdo Yes, good manners is a response that makes them look like asses, to everyone else, if not to themselves. For some, it just goes over their heads, because their rudeness is so ingrained that they don't even recognize it as such. But some feel properly chastised and they hate it.

Call them out on it. No sarcasm. No witty retort. Just a simple "I'd appreciate it if you were not rude to me." That usually catches folks off guard. Especially if they expect a fight.

Don't kill them, u don't want a prison sentence lol no matter where u work there's always someone u don't get on with... if it's ur social life u can can easily walk away from it... with regard to work... I think don't let it impact ur own personal work... if that person is affecting ur work flag up to management... regardless.. ur work life & personal life shld be separate... go in to work... do ur thing & leave & enjoy it free time u have... ignore the assholes... it sucks when others are assholes in work... but... it's just a job... work to live not live to work... ignore the fuckers... focus on u & the important ppl in ur life...

Umm. Is good to not take personally any of the things they say or do. Just mind your worn business. If the atmosphere is too toxic, I'd think of going somewhere else.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I seldom get stuck with working with the same person day after day. So I just gotta make it thru the one shift without saying something I'd regret.
Serenitree · F
Can you give us one example of the type of rudeness you're dealing with? There are some things easily dealt with, but some are so subtle that an outsider, looking on, wouldn't recognize the rudeness in the behaviour.
Serenitree · F
@AlmondStar who put the call on speaker, and why was it necessary for her to hear it too.
I'm sorry! I'm not understanding the dynamic here. Is she supposed to be training you? Or is she a workplace superior...like supervisor or team leader? Are you a new employee?

@Serenitree Nah, we have the same position. She wanted to hear the call because she’s nosy. She tries to act like she’s my boss all the time just because she’s been working for the company for the past 10 years. And it’s my first year there...
Serenitree · F
@AlmondStar So you put the call on speaker and didn't take it off speaker when she became loud and disruptive?

There's nothing like ignoring.
TacoCat · 26-30, M
