Can you give us one example of the type of rudeness you're dealing with? There are some things easily dealt with, but some are so subtle that an outsider, looking on, wouldn't recognize the rudeness in the behaviour.

@Serenitree A coworker really talked down to me. She sounded like a squeaky kindergarten teacher. ( No offense to teachers.)
If someone higher up called me, she would yell things across the room really loud "Here's what you do" and go on how to fix this or that, with the person trying to talk to me on the phone. I had to ask the person on the phone to keep repeating themselves. After I got off the phone, I told her I couldn't have a phone conversation with her yelling in the background. She said she was being "helpful" and she was doing a favor helping me. I said, "No, you weren't, you were talking all over our conversation." This happened 3 more times. She really knew what she was doing...馃う

@AlmondStar She sounds like she wants you to fail. Is she like this with anyone else?

I'm wondering what might happen if a supervisor just happened to be on the phone when she thinks it's someone else. Perhaps, without having to report her, you could just have a supervisor or manager, hear what she's doing. You could ask one to call you n some pretext.

How does this woman know what you're talking about for her to be able to give you advice while talking to someone? Are calls on speaker phones?
AlmondStarF
@Serenitree No, it鈥檚 only with me and call was on speaker because she wanted to hear the conversation too 馃檮.
SerenitreeF
@AlmondStar who put the call on speaker, and why was it necessary for her to hear it too.

I'm sorry! I'm not understanding the dynamic here. Is she supposed to be training you? Or is she a workplace superior...like supervisor or team leader? Are you a new employee?
AlmondStarF
@Serenitree Nah, we have the same position. She wanted to hear the call because she鈥檚 nosy. She tries to act like she鈥檚 my boss all the time just because she鈥檚 been working for the company for the past 10 years. And it鈥檚 my first year there...
SerenitreeF
@AlmondStar So you put the call on speaker and didn't take it off speaker when she became loud and disruptive?
