How big do you want to go? We have:

1. Small-Big
2. Big-Medium
3. Big
4. Deluxe Big
5. Super Size
gaygod · F
Deluxe big of course @MarkPaul
HerKing · 61-69, M
@gaygod Start simple; Don't waste pixels on 'big' words that aren't necessary, it just sounds pretentious. Use them when they are necessary.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@gaygod Would you like me to super size that order for you today? 🕺
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
big words doesn't make one smart.

knowing what the hell they mean does.
@sighmeupforthat knowing when to use them effectively makes one smarter.

Some folks on here use lots of unnecessary big words to make themselves seem smart. I don’t get that. You can use simple words to convey the same meaning to save time for the readers, especially people whose English is not their native languages.

or, translated into big words:

Some folks on here use lots of dispensable sesquipedal words to make themselves seem astute. I don’t get that. You can utilize simple words to convey the same meaning to preserve time for the readers, especially people whose English is not their native languages.

@gaygod Most intelligent people respect and are drawn to other intelligent people. That isn't a 'smart mouth'. It's the knowing that you're on common ground.
Big words do not make a person smart - re-arranging 'simple' ones often does. Consider this first opening statement from a 'Tale od Two Cities' by Dickens: 'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity........'. Simple words!

@gaygod Ok.

No more than one each 15 sentences. Like casual.
Cheat and use a thesaurus.

Can you believe that we live in a society?
I don't think anyone could help. Short of you writing the piece you want to do, then posting it as a separate Post and then asking for someone to use 'big words' to represent what it is you have written ... lol. Remember one thing; too many 'big' words written by even a prolific Novelist would be turned down by any of the big print houses.

Sesquipedalianism! 😋
@Reject pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis

Yes; a very real word from the English Dictionary ... hahaha

Meaning: circa 1930, English and meaning a lung disease caused by inhaling very fine ash and sand dust.

Wow, that is a long word 😯
Seeming smart is more then using big words. Stay away from childish abbreviations like
-Wanna
-Ain't
-Ya
-Y'all
You get the idea.

I always find it's best to start with the S's. Salacious, Serendipitous, Synonymous, Sycophant... Oh, almost forgot Stalwart!!

folks, give it up already.
