Some folks on here use lots of unnecessary big words to make themselves seem smart. I don’t get that. You can use simple words to convey the same meaning to save time for the readers, especially people whose English is not their native languages.

@SW-User Maybe some people use 'big' words as it has been the formulative core in their education. English is not my mother tongue however, it is a courtesy and a privilege to show respect an maintain its intefrity for those who claim it as their mother tongue. Far be it from me to be accused of massacring a language through my own indolence or inability to express it with clarity. Perhaps, those who claim it as their mother tongue might avail themselves of portraying it with the same due respect.

or, translated into big words:
Some folks on here use lots of dispensable sesquipedal words to make themselves seem astute. I don’t get that. You can utilize simple words to convey the same meaning to preserve time for the readers, especially people whose English is not their native languages.
