How many abortions can a woman have before her body is completely ruined?

I'm trying to get an idea for how much room for error I have left

The question is why would you want to have an abortion when there are other ways to stop yourself from getting pregnant..IUD's (some last for up to 5 yrs)..condoms (both male or female) ...IF you never want to have babies then get your tubes tied or something to that manner. Its more about being responsible then using abortion as a form of birth control as i am ALL ABOUT PRO CHOICE but this is not pro-choice as its irresponsible to use abortions in this manner.
A better question.....how many babies can one kill before your soul is completely ruined?

@anythingoes477 that depends some never had a soul to begin with

@anythingoes477 Thank you. I was trying to think of what words I needed to express this feeling. You said exactly what I wanted.
@seashells You don't have a clue.

I think you can have many abortions without ruining the mother's body, but just one abortion will completely destroy the body of a child.

@SW-User True.
You know, I admit I don't know the answer to this, but I know the procedure is so comparatively (that is to say, surgically) minor that I would have to guess the answer would be something along the lines of at least a fair number.

Okay, I went and looked this up just so I could comment intelligently, and although there's some back-and-forth on the subject, this is from goaskalice:
Having one or more abortions carries little to no risk of future pregnancy complications such as infertility, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, or birth defects for future pregnancies. Some research suggests that women who have multiple surgical abortions may be slightly more likely to have complications such as low-birth weight babies or pre-term birth. This is not to say, however, that abortion causes adverse pregnancy outcomes. Instead, some women who have abortions may also have other life events or risk factors that predisposed them to having low-birth weight babies and/or pre-term births (as opposed to the abortion leading to these complications).
Why not just get fixed so you don't carry anymore, or take one minute to pop a pill, or have him throw a condom? IF I ever had to have just one abortion, that would ruin me there. And I was raped and kept my child. So for you to say this, and ask such a question, I just wonder if you need mental help or someone to talk to.

If you're trying to get an abortion debate going, that's a pretty clever way of doing it.
seashells · 31-35, F
@StevetheSleeve I'm not but ok
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
@seashells OK, then. If done properly, an abortion or multiple abortions are not likely to do damage to the cervix or uterus.

Get an IUD.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@seashells Ignore him. But seriously. Get an IUD. Once inserted you're baby-free with no hassle.
seashells · 31-35, F
@anythingoes477 no I'm not a nun. I thought there was a limit
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@seashells There's no limit, but since abortion is an invasive procedure it's risky and stuff can go wrong. So the more you have, the greater the likelihood there may be a complication.

Actually, the part that'll ruin a woman comes before that.
chrisCA · M
Ruined, as in not being able to get pregnant?
seashells · 31-35, F
@chrisCA yeah
Serenitree · F
How many have you already had?
