What is a belief you used to hold strongly, but have now since outgrown?

That life is good.

I used to think that people were mostly good.

That most people are essentially good.

I USED to believe that I HAD to be married or I could not be happy.

No matter which government is in charge they will screw it up big time!

The concept of being a virgin before you marry

The Bible

That Allah does not get hurt physically

I believed news media told the truth.

The monarchy

That other women were my enemies/competition. i haven't thought or felt that way since i was in my very early 20s. a friend of mine was also this way but in a super ridiculously toxic way and it seriously opened my eyes to how insane it all was. I dropped that crazy ass mindset and never looked back. i will never be that girl again. But i also avoid others who operate with that mindset bc i find it dangerous.

I used to believe that if I was good enough, quiet enough, obedient enough, or prayed hard enough, people would stop hurting me. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that abuse and cruelty are choices made by others, not something caused by my failures.

There is no God.
