Andy's Attic relationship update. My partner takes me for granted and expects me to wait hand and feet to her freeloading (unemployed) Son. I posted

about this when I first joined SW and I am sorry to tell you there has been no change. She tries to make me feel guilty because she has 4 jobs and earns all of the money, does all the housework and makes all the meals while I sit at home all day drinking and doing bugger all. Well, if you call being a professional poet sitting at home all day doing 'bugger all' then I would agree with her but I know the good SWeeps are on my side.

She, once again had the audacity to ask me to do something 'constructive' for her son. Well, I have a friend who owns an abattoir so I asked him if he could employ my step son. Clearly my friend knew he was lazy and refused, his exact words were: 'Sorry Andy, he is only 9, perhaps I could offer you a job instead?' What a bloody cheek! I have bent over backwards for her and her lazy son and now it seems my friend is in cahoots.

I would leave but I have no money of my own, do you think a 'crowdfunding' page would raise enough money to keep me in comfort which would allow me to leave this ungrateful family?

Thank you in advance for your sympathy and possible future crowdfunding contributions.

I feel for you and your situation, sir! To have such a lazy do nothing of a step son must be quite trying for you, and to have your efforts to rehabilitate him thwarted by your partner and her friends must be disheartening to such an active poet. I’ve had similar experiences myself, having filled out many job applications for my adopted son and even driving him to the interviews, only to have them reject him on sight for “being a cat”. How dare they, I say! I adopted him, raised him and imparted much of my wisdom to him! Just because he’s not human he can’t be my son?! The nerve of these people 😤

@AndysAttic My son also has a degree in the liberal arts, or “psychology” as he likes to term it. He too is quite judgmental

@Zaphod42 Sir, perhaps a Bachelor of Arts of this renown should get together with my colleague and start a practice.
i would trust those two with my life and all my money. @Zaphod42 @AndysAttic

I'd keep an eye on them. It seems that NASA or the illumination may be trying to get to you through them.

@TrunkZ You hit the nail on the head Sir, as a creation scientist/poet I spend mot of my time researching on YouTube, trying to find the truth.

@AndysAttic Someday history will appreciate what an enlightened visionary you are.

I'd fund you based just on your intelligence and humor. 😄🩷

@Magenta While those certainly do help, can we just admit that the thought of Andy having to get off the couch TERRIFIES us?
SlaveEt · 36-40, F

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout My pleasure Old Chap.

Andy, you are TOO PRECIOUS to be working a real job, I hope your wife knows that.

One thing, you could make some "unintelligent" videos to post on youtube and it might go viral. People do that all the time.

Or, the crowd funding thing - it might work. Just pretend like you have a grave ailment like the rest of the pretenders doing online panhandling.

An abattoir is an excellent place for a pre-teen to work. Grow up kid!

Gosh, to think of that lazy 9-year-old free loader enjoying a life of leisure.
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@badminton It beggars belief Sir, at that age I was already writing poems.
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
@AndysAttic It does indeed bugger description.

That's what happens when rampant feminism runs amok!
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@JimboSaturn Indeed Jimbo it is, for shame. We men must have broad shoulders in this World, only yesterday I had to put my own washing in the laundry basket.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@AndysAttic You would think she would put more effort in appreciation!
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@JimboSaturn I know Sir, it pains me...I allowed her to give up one of the jobs when she had the twins.
