Why do we never learn from history, the towns of Sodden and Gonorrhoea were destroyed due to sin, wicked sin and very few were spared

One of those was that was spared was 'Clot' who was a righteous fellow and was commanded, along with his wife (Mavis) to run away from the cities. They were warned to never look back but Clot's wife could not restrain herself...She looked back and was turned into a pillar of malt.

Did we learn from this? No, less than 3 years later Hitlers panzers sunk the Titanic and WW1 began.

Why do we never learn from the lessons of the past?

And just a year before that, Tony Montana led the Mexicans to victory over the Swiss in the war for independent beer companies, and we’ve been drinking corona beer on March 5th ever since.

We really don’t learn from history 😔

@Zaphod42 Sir, while I agree with the context you must surely be aware that he became involved in the debacle at the 'Bay of Figs' in which he lost to the Cuban leader Shae Guvernan and was later run out of Mexico and ran to Australia where he met Adolf Hitler.

@AndysAttic Good sir, while I do not mean to call attention to minor ignorances of fact, but it was the Bay of Wigs, not figs 🙄
And I had not forgotten his unfortunate involvement there, nor his later unfortunate meeting with the German councilor. But these things in no way diminish his role in starting the the Cinco De Mayo (or translated, “sandwich with mayo”) festival.

Did Hitler sunk the Titanic?
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@SW-User Yes Ma'am, he used his Zeppelin.
AntisocialTroll · 56-60, F
@AndysAttic I assume his Zeppelin was made of lead?
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@AntisocialTroll Indeed it was Ma'am,
