What is the predominant non-vegetarian dish consumed in your country?

You obviously know there are many answers to this question; it's regional for any country.

In the USA:

In the Northeast, it's fast food

In the Central East Coast it's pork

In Florida it's anything but 'gator

In the eastern south it's Gumbo

In the country of Texas it's beef. Did you hear me? It's beef!

In the desert states it's anything, including rattlesnake.

on the west coast they look at you crazy and ask "what is non-vegetarian?"
except for Portland and Seattle where it's seafood

coming back east from there, it's Bison, Elk, Deer, Rabbit, and any small game that can be shot with a .22 that nobody will ask questions about. That's the whole western midwest.

Used to be fish and chips..but I believe this has been overtaken by curry

Probably some type of GMO chicken. Fried of course with a thick crust.

Yet anything fried with a thick crust is likely. Fried Breading is cheap.

Fish sticks or chicken nuggets is a example. Must be fried in the worst possible oil! Can't forget the high LDL cholesterol!
