Telling my kids their auntie (my sister) has cancer
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Telling my mother about something that happened to me at 12 which I couldn’t tell her at the time as she was in a very badly violent marriage and could barely take care of herself. It took me over 35 years before I told her.
mangomonkey · 41-45, F
@Primnproper i really hope both you and your mum are in happier more secure places in your lives 🤗
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@mangomonkey very much so. It was a very long time ago.🤗
minxy · 46-50, F

Theyitis · 36-40, M
@chaoticmess Would you be willing to tell me by private message how old you both were?
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
It is too sad for me reading these answers.
DADDYDEAN · 61-69, M
@Subsumedpat yes thud that's why it was the toughest thing that many of us have had to tell someone that we dearly love something that is absolutely horrible.
And I certainly understand why it's too sad or some people to even read.
DoubleRings · 51-55, F
I had to tell my dad that the doctor said my mom was going to die. It was kind of awkward because he was also hard of hearing. Try yelling news like that.
mangomonkey · 41-45, F
@DoubleRings that soinds really difficult. Sorry for your loss 🤗
twistedrope · 26-30, M
Probably telling my father I wanted to end my life. He was the reason. Really broke my world.
mangomonkey · 41-45, F
@twistedrope sending hugs and hopeful wishes that life is a little less dark these days for you 🤗
ImpeccablyImperfect · 51-55, F
This is about the saddest thread I’ve read. So many heartaches and hardships.
I’m sorry to read them all 😢😢
DADDYDEAN · 61-69, M
telling my three kids that their grandma had passed away
mangomonkey · 41-45, F
@DADDYDEAN my daughter lost her grandfather a little over a year ago. Her being told about his death and not being able to make it better for her has been horrible.
Hope you and your kids are doing ok 🤗
Telling someone I wasnt in love with them
BigImo · 22-25, F
That she sells seashells by the seashore
exexec · 61-69, C
Lynn says her hardest things to tell anybody were telling two guys in college that she could not date them anymore because the guys were getting too serious. She didn't mind dumping the others, apparently
smiler2012 · 56-60
@mangomonkey i was there in the hospital when my grandma died it was my mothers mother and i had too ring her and break the terrible news😢
MsRose · F
Telling my paternal grandmother I never wanted to see her ever again after her and an uncle heinously betrayed me over money.
mangomonkey · 41-45, F
@NativePortlander1970 that sounds really horrible. Hope you have found some peace since then 🤗
@mangomonkey She died a month and a half ago, she knew she was dying of cancer, and never bothered asking for forgiveness, I wasn't told until the next day, I hope she's roasting in pieces.
