Christmas can be sad as well

I hate to think that some children don't get a present at Christmas so the last two years I donate a boy and a girls present. There only about £10 each but I feel a bit happier.
I have always been lucky to receive presents every year and often when I was younger from relatives as well.

I feel bad now that I got more than enough at times and others had nothing but back then I never knew.
I wish we could change all this but sadly we can't do it overnight.
Thankfully more people are donating so fewer children go without so to those who do thank you.🙂

You've encouraged me to do the same. I'm going to look into this.
@SW-User Just do what you can afford, but that's nice of you to say so

It's the least we can do and every little bit helps.

You are a beautiful soul.
@SunshineGirl Thanks but I am lucky to have got things when I was younger so try and give back a bit that's all.

@happygoluckygal Not many people realise how lucky they are and want to help those who are less fortunate.

I grew up never knowing presents existed until I went to school and the other kids told me about Santa . There was really no hardship. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My Christmas is definitely going to be sad. The folks I did Friendsmas with last year are all unable to host, and my house isn't big enough.
