The Best Scrabble Word, Ever

My daughter and I were playing Scrabble this afternoon. She laid down a word - MOBBLERS - which used up all her tiles and covered a triple-word square. Busily starts to count up her score.

Me: Erm, I'm not sure that's a real word.

Da: *Frowns*, fetches the dictionary.
So, like, I'm not allowed to have it?

Me: *Shakes head*

Da: But if it was a real word, it would be the Best Scrabble Word, Ever!

Great, my daughter has become the Donald Trump of the Scrabble board 🤣🤣🤣

Perhaps there should be a Scrabble variant in which only words that are not in the dictionary are allowed, with the proviso that the player must provide a plausible definition.

Google, “snigglets” . 20-30 years ago a comedian had a bit where he made up words and provided their meaning.@ninalanyon

@redredred I think that is Rich Hall . . he went on to have a successful TV career in the UK.

Better a Donald Trump of Scrabble instead of a Donald Trump of politics! 😂😂😂 She's a total superstar you know that? 💫💫💫 Making up pretend words is fun! 🤭🤭🤭

@MommyLucy Yes, it is, I agree! I should be less strict about the rules!

Sounds like something from Harry Potter.
Muggles isn't in the dictionary either.
Mobblers: Animals that have no magical ability at all, these are very rare creatures. :)

@JoyfulSilence Nice try, but not in my 1954 edition of the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary!

She should have used GOBBLERS or WOBBLERS!
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Guardian You have only 7 letter tiles in Scrabble. She did BOMBERS (adding the first 6 letters to an S already on the board), which was still very good but without the bonus 50 points that a player gets for using all their tiles.
